Why Adopt?

There are thousands of animals that are in need of a caring and loving home. These animals have done nothing wrong, but some how they have ended up with no family, and no place to go. Adopting an animal from the Owensboro Humane Society gives hope for more animals, as we adopt our animals out, we can provide shelter and care for more abandoned animals.

When you adopt from the Owensboro Humane Society, you are saving a life. Not only have you saved a life, but you have made a friend with the Owensboro Humane Society, and we will be with you every step of the way when it comes to your animal. We can keep you informed on social events for you and your animal, as well as suggest training classes, and offer advice for the reminding of your animals life. We want you and your animal to grow together, play together, and trust each other so that you can live a happy life together.
