The Owensboro Humane Society, a no kill shelter, needs the following items in the care of our animals who are waiting for their forever homes and those who will remain with us:

abrasive sponges

Clorox Foam Spray Cleanup

Clorox wipes

paper towels

dish soap

laundry detergent

Thank you from the staff, volunteers, and most of all the animals at Owensboro Humane Society.  Donations may be dropped off at OHS, 3101 W. 2nd St., Owensboro, KY 42301, Monday-Sunday, 11:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Thank You Sandbar!

Many, many thanks to Owensboro’s Sandbar for hosting the “Don’t Press Paws” benefit concert last Saturday. Through the generous efforts of staff, performers, and, of course, patrons, Sandbar presented the Owensboro Humane society with $603 to support the care and an enhanced life of our cat, dog, and possum residents.
