The Owensboro Humane Society is offering a proactive solution to the pet over-population crisis, which is the most critical issue facing pets and strays in the Owensboro and surrounding areas today. By promoting adoptions and spay/neuter efforts, the organization is actively addressing the problem. Lack of homes leads to thousands of cats and dogs being put to sleep at county shelters each year. Additionally, harsh environmental conditions, lack of food, and other factors contribute to the deaths of thousands of animals. The problem is out of control and requires immediate attention.
The great news is the Owensboro Humane Society offers low cost spay/neuter clinics twice each month. Our operations are performed at our facility, by a highly qualified licensed veterinarian. There is no transporting of your animal.

Boarding
Boarding the night before or after surgery is available for $10.00 per night.
Requirements
Rabies vaccine will be REQUIRED. If your animal has been vaccinated, you MUST bring proof of your animal’s rabies vaccine at the time you sign up your animal.
